Blastoff

April 1, 2021 – Launch Day for my first published book, Senior Management:
Parenting My Parents.”
I feel a bit like I’ve given birth, but without the physical pain. The gestation period
was long – about five years. But here we are. My story is going out into the world.
I’m excited and happy but apprehensive. Will people like it or will they think it’s
shite? My guess is there will be some who will laugh in all the funny parts and shed a
tear in the sad parts. Others will say I should abandon writing and dedicate my
retirement to bird-watching. Whatever – there’s no turning back now.
It’s been a dreary, wet day – a perfect day to try to get my website up and running to
coincide with the release of my book.
